Multimatic Named Sustainable Supplier of the Year

MARKHAM, ON, Canada (October 28, 2024) –Multimatic Carbon Fibre Technologies (CFT) is proud to be recognized as the Sustainable Supplier of the Year by Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 during its Supplier Sustainability Day event, held at the Heritage Centre in Silverstone Park.

The award is an acknowledgement of Multimatic CFT’s ongoing commitment to establish sustainable processes in its operations. In addition to achieving the highest score in the F1 team’s sustainability survey for suppliers, the division’s exceptional Quality Score has led to minimal rework and scrap, improved energy efficiency, and optimized logistics by reducing deliveries.

Multimatic CFT has also formed an Environmental Focus Group to empower its team to drive positive change. They have implemented continuous improvements at the facility by increasing access to recycling bins, introducing a battery recycling program, and providing a secure bike shed to encourage sustainable commuting.
