Unprecedented level of performance
Representing the ultimate and most extreme track only Ford GT ever, the new Ford GT Mk IV by Ford Performance and Multimatic is a radically advanced supercar delivering max performance with a specially engineered twin-turbo EcoBoost engine targeting more than 800 horsepower, race transmission, carbon fibre “long tail” body, plus Multimatic’s Adaptive Spool Valve (ASV) Dampers and unique suspension.

More displacement = more horsepower
To deliver unconstrained performance, exceeding that of any Ford GT to date, the Ford GT Mk IV has a unique twin-turbo EcoBoost engine with larger displacement targeting more than 800 horsepower, paired to a proper racing gearbox.

Adaptive suspension
The Mk IV is the first Ford GT track car to feature Multimatic’s innovative Adaptive Spool Valve (ASV) Dampers. Building on the inherent advantages of spool valve technology, ASV Dampers add continuous independent adjustment of compression and rebound damping at all four corners.
A central controller running Multimatic’s proprietary performance optimisation algorithm selects ideal damping characteristics for each corner, based on changing track and driver inputs for ultimate vehicle control.
